Dr. Gutiérrez -on the board of the UA Hanson Film Institute which co-hosted the Festival along with the Tucson Mexican Consulate- moderates a discussion of one of these prize-winning films. Arráncame la Vida, based on the popular novel by Angeles Mastretta, was Mexico’s entry to the Academy Awards in 2009.

The public is invited to hear the discussion and participate in the Q & A, having seen the film or not.
